The Great FOOT Race!
Come race half a world for fame and gold!

The Great FOOT race is an Anvilmar Special Event
hosted and sponsored by The Foot Clan and other guilds on Anvilmar. The race will consist of a weekend run from one continent of Azeroth to the other with the first player to reach the other side on their newly created level 1 Alt wins! Various other prizes will be awarded to later finishers. The entire event will be recorded and released on YouTube and FearTheFoot.com with honorable mentions to the racers, the sponsoring guilds, and the race officials who make the race possible.

Raceway Course : The raceway for 2009 will be announced no later than May 27th. The race will begin May 31st, Noon Server Time (1400 CST/1500 EST) in the Valley Of Trials.

Participants Will Form Up And Be Ready To Go At The
Valley Of Trials, this means making an Orc or Troll character. Only new
characters created within the hour will be allowed to compete.

Checkpoint 1: Razor Hill - Players must run from the Valley Of
Trials and run into Razor Hill outpost. You must physically enter it's
wall. No running along the outskirts. You must run through it.

Checkpoint 2: Ratchet Harbor - Players have a choice at this point.
To follow the river to Ratchet, Die their way to Xroads and run to
Ratchet, or take the pathway around to Ratchet. As long as you hit the
Razor Hill checkpoint, you can take any way to get to Ratchet you like.

Checkpoint 4: Booty Bay

Checkpoint 5: Stranglethorn Vale

Checkpoint 6: Duskwood - Things will become complicated, with the
introduction of the Nigh*****ch wandering on paths to kill our

you get through Darkshire?

Checkpoint 7: Deadwind Pass

Checkpoint 8: Swap Of Sorrows
